Losing Johnny was a major hit. My plan from here on is thus:
1) Align with teams of two, specifically District 2 and District 9.
2) If possible, turn them against eachother and feign weakness (or really, actually be weak, given my lack of weapons or anything great in my starting backpack? seems likely that's happening.)
3) ALSO IF POSSIBLE, but not necessary: Return to the cave and retrieve items. That's 8 backpacks of stuff there. Pretty much gamechanging to get that.

So I made it through Round 3, which is awesome. I mean, what did I expect after 8 people dying in an area? Everyone avoided it but me. xD Honestly, I expected more people, but at the very least, I get an additional backpack and a round if invulnerability due to no one being in the same area. I should probably coordinate more with D9 and D2, the two groups I'm leeching off of, then I'll make a plan for next round. Edit (1:52): Sent out PMs to D2 and D9. Moving slower in my conversations with D2 on purpose. Also decided to spread out a little , so I sent a PM to D1, since they're the only ones in the Field this round.

So I got Johnny's belongings. Swell. Moving onto this round, it's basically just survive to the next, and either my friend in D9 or D11 whom I haven't spoken to takes the fall. Based on how D11 only has one post added in his confessional, I expect he had rations, so it's me or D9. Thankfully, this means I won't have to cut them as much down the road. Edit (12:37): Oh. Totally wrong about D11 having rations. Guess he just sucked. Edit (12:52): OR I WAS RIGHT. Guh. Current placing: 7th Place: 8th Place: District 3, 4, 6, and 12 12th Place: District 5

So Round 5 started up, and I am met face to face with Adam Brody.
WELP. Might as well toss him a bone.
This way, I can make ABSOLUTELY SURE I make it through the round if I win the duel... which I have a good shot at doing so.
Edit (1:12): Also? It's time to get out of these Caves.

Some of these people are rudely inactive.
District 11 came online but chose NOT to check my PM or respond to it. Dick. I'm gonna kill him.
For that matter, I sent a PM to District 1 at least 3 rounds ago and THEY HAVEN'T CHECKED THEIR PM EITHER. WHAT THE BITCH.
At the very least, there are four competent districts. District 2, District 9, District 10, and myself. (I mean, I can't really speak for the 5 teams eliminated so far, since they all went out before the game really began, nor can I for District 8 which I haven't tried to talk to... but still)

Game's reaching towards the end, eh? There's only 5 players from 4 districts left! Time to really step it up!
Current Placing:
5th Place: District 2, 8, and 11 8th Place: District 3, 4, 6, and 12 12th Place: District 5

I have sent PMs to all three remaining districts.
The reasoning being thus: I want to coordinate my chances of surviving the bag picking... since like hell I'm gonna skip out on the feast! :/
Well, I mean.
If each of the three say they're going after different ones, I may skip out, since I have five prizes already and will be seeking out more that I know the locations of, especially of where they were when they died (Dense Forest has to have at least one, same for Rocky Mountains and Hollow Caves.) from here on.
Get the backpacks. Monopolize the weapons. Kill everyone. Win.

D9 told me They were going after Backpack #2.
D10 told me they were thinking of not going after a backpack due to being confident with what they had.
D1 is inactive and hasn't been on in 24 hours so has likely missed the feast regardless.
Only reason I'm dying here is lucky draw and being lied to by D10. Either way, I'm probably the best player here for this game, and luck is the only way I'm not gonna lose. ;D

I have survived 7 rounds. 6 without Johnny.
Admittedly, losing Johnny early on was a GOOD thing, since I was able to use that to make myself get a smaller target and thus worm my way closer to people.
I am on good terms with D9 and on tentative terms with D10.
As such, I will be helping out D9, but not helping out D10, since I expect D10 can just help themselves out.
I am also going BACK to the Hollow Caves, because I believe there will be one or two more backpacks to grab there, and they appear to be the keys to the game, so I will be hording them.

As of just a little bit ago, D9 and myself have solidified a Final 2 deal, which would benefit me. And they stated it along with them saying that despite liking District 10, they DO outnumber us. (District 1 is irrelevant and will die alone.)
So current plan, work D10 into a corner and pick them off. If D9 doesn't die by D10's hands, then overwhelm them. Perfect.

Even though I didn't win (The b&b I'm staying at didn't have their internet working yesterday), I had a lot of fun. You can add my email to a list of people who would want to play in season 2.

I'm really glad. I'll probably spend a week or so, just refining Season 2, so it's more enjoyable for all.
